Treehouse Foods recalled frozen waffles due to a possible listeria outbreak in a Friday release. The brand sells items in commercial stores across the United States and Canada.
The company says the issue was discovered during routine testing at their manufacturing facility this week.
“Consumers should check their freezers for any of the products listed above and dispose of them or return the recalled product to the place of purchase for credit,” the food company said.
There have been no reports of illness as of Saturday afternoon.
The recall comes after a series of listeria outbreaks at BrucePac and Boar’s Head which resulted in both company’s disclosures acknowledging millions of pounds of contaminated meat were sold.
This week, the U.S. Department of Agriculture recalled meat products from over 150 schools the country too.
